New eBooks from Pottermore

The Pottermore website has added two new eBook titles to the Harry Potter collection last week. That is the only official place to order Harry Potter ebooks as no other retailer can sell them through their website.

The new books have been written by the famous author J.K. Rowling herself and are a part of the Harry Potter fantasy as Hogwarts Library books.

The names of the two eBooks are “Quidditch Through the Ages” and “Fantastic Beasts & Where to find them”. These titles have been available in the hard copy form for a quite some time now, but they have been made available as ebooks more recently.

The book “Quidditch Through the Ages” details about the history and techniques of the popular Hogwarts game, Quidditch. All the information about where the Golden Snitch came from, what are Buldgers and why the Wigtown Wanderers have pictures of meat cleavers on their robes, all the answers are found in the new ebook which can be bought through Pottermore website. All the problems about understanding the game rules and history can be solved by reading the new book found in the Hogwarts Library Books.

The other ebook, “Fantastic Beasts & Where to find them” explains about all the magical creatures found in the Wizard world. If anyone is curious about discovering where Quintaped lives, what do Puffskins eat and why can’t milk be left for the Knarl, the new book informs about all the important aspects of these fantastic beasts. The book has all the additional information and notes from Harry Potter and his friends to make it an exclusive guide.

Both the eBooks have been made available in UK and US in English and can be bought for $3.99. Pottermore notes that about 40% of the sale of these two ebooks will be given to Comic Relief Charity. It has been noted on the website that “Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to improving the lives of children around the world” which is a more important work than the Quidditch game.
