Black Friday Discounts from Amazon and B&N

Any shopping plans for Black Friday? How about adding an eBook reader or a tablet to your list, especially since two of the favourite companies today have some awesome deals on their products? The best selling Amazon and Barnes & Noble eBook reader producers have brought to light amazing devices and with the shopping season starting, have decided to provide great deals that would certainly not disappoint their fans.

Black Friday deals on the Amazon Kindle

Whenever you think eBook or eBook reader, your mind inevitably goes to the Amazon Kindle. Slick, Linux operated, app-friendly, popular, quality Kindle. For this holiday season, Amazon comes forth with great gift packages and reduced prices.

Kindle Keyboard – the 3G device is available from this Friday with a $50 cost reduction, available on Best Buy only. When used for anything else than reading, this eBook reader will have ads pop-up on the display. If that is not too inconvenient, rush to the store and get your own Kindle Keyboard with only $90. On Black Friday, the price is expected to drop under $85, in stores; as for shopping online, the offer will be limited.

Kindle Wi-Fi – the device has the same usual price – $89, but this Christmas shopping season, it comes with a Staples $15 gift card. On Radio Shack, the eBook reader has the same price and is joined by a $10 gift card and 50% off an accessory bundle.

Kindle Fire – the brand new tablet has no discount so far, but when purchasing the Kindle Fire, you will get a 20% cut on the M-Edge cases. The offer is available at the Office Depot. Since the product has only been launched a week ago, it’s unlikely it will get any discounts so soon, but keep an eye on shops on Black Friday. Surprises are classic for this time of year.

Black Friday discounts on the Barnes & Noble Nook

The Nook has hit the market a week before the Kindle Fire and has received great reviews so far. The device is a bit more flexible than Amazon’s and a more open to applications, given its Android platform.

Nook Simple Touch Reader – the ink-based device comes with a $20 discount this Friday and can be purchased from Best Buy for $79.99.

Nook Color – the price of this device has already dropped $50 and for this holiday season, a $25 Staples gift card will accompany the popular $199 eBook reader. Radio Shack throws in a $20 gift card with the regular priced Nook Color.

Nook Tablet – the new device entered the market just a few weeks ago and so far, there is no better deal than its already great price of $250. It’s never too late for a surprise price drop, so check the B&N website regularly.

The Christmas shopping season starts at the end of this week and many other tempting offers will shop up in the eBook reader and tablet world. A price reduction is expected from Apple for their iPads as well and a device of this type will make a great Christmas present. Just get the whole information before deciding on a tablet and check all deals out there, you are bound to find one that suits your every need.
